Open Mat Schedule ​

  •  Any and all are welcome, at no cost.  
  • ​Please check the schedule below for cancellations and changes  (especially for last minute  changes) in the schedule, before coming to the open mat.
  • All open mats are in the Olympus High Wrestling Room.
  • Open Mats will generally be on Monday @ 9:00 A.M. and Wednesday @ 3:00 P.M.  See schedule below for specific dates and times
  • Wrestlers not able to manage themselves during open mats may be asked to leave.

Summer Wrestling Camps

Olympus High School is not going to be doing a team camp this year however all wrestlers should get to one of the camps below.

West Regional 
Who: This camp will be held at the UVU wrestling room and be run by some of the UVU Wrestlers to help prepare those going to West Regionals.
Cost: This is a donation camp but donations should range in the $50-$100 range.
When: June 4-8. The camp will run from 9:30am-12:00pm Monday thru Friday. Register onsite when you arrive.
Clinicians include Taylor LaMont, Grant LaMont, Kimball Bastian and Chase Call. All four were past Junior All-Americans and National Champions

Sanderson Wrestling Academy

D1 All-American Wrestling Camp
When: June 18-21st  
Where: Location: Utah Athletic Center, 51 River Bend Way, North Salt Lake, UT

Camp Counselors: Cael Sanderson, Zain Retherford and Cyler Sanderson
  • Cael Sanderson:  Penn State Head Coach, Olympic Champion, 4x NCAA Champion, Undefeated College Wrestling Career 159-0, 4x NCAA MVP, 3x Hodge Trophy Winner, 6 NCAA Team Titles as Head Coach
  • Zain Retherford - 2x NCAA Wrestling Champion, Hodge Trophy Winner, 3x NCAA All-American, World Team Member
  • Cyler Sandrson: 2x NCAA All-American, Big 10 Champion, Big 12 Champion

This camp is a very special opportunity for our wrestlers out west. Cael doesn’t do camps outside of Pennsylvania anymore and Zain rarely comes west.
We anticipate this camp filling up, so please don’t wait to register.

$219 per athlete
$99 per coach (if coaches bring 1 or more athletes they can attend for free)​

Vector Wrestling Camp
Dates: June 25 - 28, 2018
Location: Timpanogos High School in Orem, UT.

  • Kyle Snyder - 2x World Champion, 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist, 3x NCAA Champion, Pound-for-Pound #1 in the world.
  • David Taylor - World Team Member, 2x U.S. Open Champion, 2x NCAA Champion.
  • Hunter Stieber - Oklahoma University Assistant Coach, 2x NCAA All-American, 4x Ohio HS State Champion.

Atlas Wrestling Camp
Dates: June 29-30th
Location: Murray High School
Cost: $75 by 6/22 or $85 after

Redshirted the 2016-17 season for the Wolverines ... compiled a 20-5 record while competing unattached at 125 pounds ... won titles at both the Cowboy Open and the UVU Open by going 4-0 and 5-0, respectively ...
